Treat NHS survey reults with suspicion

NHS logoWe have received three personalised requests via email  to take part in a survey on local health services by an agency working for  the NHS.

The Blog uses surveys and we value the results. So we have done the survey only once and claimed the Amazon voucher (yet to arrive). But there would be nothing to stop me doing this 3 times (or more if the invitations keep coming in), collecting the vouchers and completely skewing the results.

More worryingly still, there is nothing to stop people inside the NHS submitting multiple questionnaires and also skewing the results.

Without proper controls and sampling the results of these surveys are worthless and we should treat them with due suspicion when they are published.

What a waste. No wonder the NHS has no money.

We will publish the results of our broadband survey shortly If you have not completed it you can do it here.
