The Half Moon is gearing up for a truly festive Christmas. Some suitably wassailing ales and food have been promised, plus the usual feast of entertainment.
Christmas Eve. Carols and mince pies from 8pm. Bring the family. Sing.
Christmas Day. Bar only, 12-2. Escape from the mayhem at home and have a pint with your friends; spill something on your new M&S Christmas jumper.
Boxing Day Bhaji Night kicks off from 7 pm with that most traditional of delicious Christmas dishes, the pub curry. Regulars will know that Andrew has excelled himself during the recent, very short, Tuesday curry night season, so stand by for some wonderful antidotes to cold turkey leftovers.
Sunday 28 December. The pub’s traditional Christmas Quiz. Teams of 4 –ish. 8 pm. All welcome. Surely someone can beat the Moonies?
