Mrs Badger Writes. . .
Dear Mr Editor,
May I once again claim the hospitality of your esteemed blog to report that I heard the first cuckoo of the summer whilst walking my dog Winkle on the marsh.
The time was precisely 10.55 this morning, Saturday 21 st April.
This has put a spring in my step, and I hope it does the same for you, as the Blog has been very quiet these past few months.
Yours ever,
Amelia Badger (Mrs)

What the “Fine Times Recorder” said about the MPO’s double bill, playing until Saturday 7th April at the Milborne Port Village Hall.
“Two of the silliest musical tales ever put on stage get a rousing, vivacious and thoroughly enjoyable performance by Milborne Port Opera”
Trial by Jury is “a delight from start to finish.”
Murder at Shakerley House is “all very silly and very funny”.
“Hats off to MPO for a double-bill of musical delight.”
