{"id":7080,"date":"2022-10-03T17:16:10","date_gmt":"2022-10-03T17:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horsington.blog2.idnet.com\/?p=7080"},"modified":"2022-10-03T17:16:10","modified_gmt":"2022-10-03T17:16:10","slug":"bailward-invades-east-germany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/horsington.blog2.idnet.com\/?p=7080","title":{"rendered":"Bailward invades East Germany"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Chris Bailward&#8217;s epic summer cycle ride (now an annual event) continues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He left Horsington on the 21 st September, cycled through France and Belgium across the battlefields of 2 world wars and entered Germany last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have been following him on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bailward.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">www.bailward.co.uk<\/a>, (as we hope you are), you will know he is now in what was East Germany and heading for Dresden, a most interesting city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His target is \\Berlin, where he is being met by son Tom, and they will drive back home together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A great effort. We look forward to welcoming you home.
