The last Street Party for the Diamond Jubilee<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

On Sunday June 5th<\/sup>, the Villagers of Horsington and South Cheriton will sit down for a joyous party in the street running  through the middle of Horsington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be 70 years and three days after Her Majesty was crowned Queen in Westminster Abbey, an event a few of us watched on tiny flickering black and white tellies..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Street party is open to everyone. Entry is by ticket only, which you can obtain from event ograniser John Samson (0797 4662145),  if you have not already done so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Road will be closed, and only ticket holders will be allowed into the party area..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bring you own wine or use the bar. Listen to the band. Have a lovely day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: copies of the DVD of the last Village Street party 10 years ago are still available at \u00a38.00, with proceeds going to Horsington Church.
