{"id":6617,"date":"2020-12-30T16:56:01","date_gmt":"2020-12-30T16:56:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/horsington.blog2.idnet.com\/?p=6617"},"modified":"2020-12-30T16:56:01","modified_gmt":"2020-12-30T16:56:01","slug":"gloomy-new-year-as-we-descend-into-tier-four","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/horsington.blog2.idnet.com\/?p=6617","title":{"rendered":"Gloomy New year as we descend into Tier Four"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Somerset is now in Tier 4 lockdown, along with three quarters of the rest of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rules are similar to the last national lockdown<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pubs, bars and restaurants can\u00a0only\u00a0serve takeaway<\/li><li>Hotels must\u00a0close their doors\u00a0<\/li><li>Indoor gyms and leisure centres must close<\/li><li>No shooting or golf<\/li><li>Personal care services\u00a0and non-essential retail\u00a0must close<\/li><li>People living in Tier 4 cannot bubble with other households<\/li><li>Residents should stay at home as much as possible<\/li><li>Residents should not enter or leave Tier 4 areas unless for essential reasons<\/li><li>Residents from Tier 4 areas should not stay overnight in other areas<\/li><li>They cannot go abroad apart from &#8220;limited exceptions&#8221;\u00a0such as work<\/li><li>People should work from home if they can<\/li><li>Communal worship may continue\u00a0<\/li><li>Weddings and civil partnerships can only take place in exceptional circumstances, with a limit of six attendees.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is the official Government communique for<strong> South Somerset District:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-gray-color has-text-color\"><a><strong>\u00a0Confirmed cases<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A confirmed case is where a person has had a positive test result for Coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were<strong> 58<\/strong> new people with a confirmed positive test result reported on 30 December 2020.(December 22: 55)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total number of people who have had a confirmed positive test result as of 30 December 2020 was <strong>2,574<\/strong>. (December 22: 2182)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Deaths<\/strong><\/span><a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size\">There were<strong> 6<\/strong> new deaths within 28 days of a positive test for Coronavirus reported on 30 December 2020. (22 December: None)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-normal-font-size\">Total number of people who have died within 28 days of testing positive for Coronavirus as of 29 December 2020 was <strong>86<\/strong>.
