It seems a bad connection caused the cable voltage to go to ground,\nresulting in a serious deterioration in speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The fault is being corrected as we write this, Residents\ndown Batchpool Lane, and on Horsington Marsh can expect the service to improve\nover the next few days, as the broadband servers react to the improved\nconductivity of the carrier wires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your editor\u2019s speed is now a massive 2.7Mbps, up from a derisory 1.2 Mbps.
