Everybody locally must have\u00a0seen all the posters and been aware it was going happen when and where\u00a0but there was nothing to say WHY\u00a0 which to most people is the very relevant. Had there been a small banner across John&#8217;s\u00a0signs saying\u00a0\u00a0<strong>IN AID OF THE\u00a0DEFIBRILLATOR\u00a0<\/strong>there might have \u00a0been a better turnout.<\/p>\n<p>All is not lost. For those of us who do not wish to subject ourselves to potentially a lot of loud music tell us how we can contribute!!<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Robin<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Tina Wons writes..<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dear Charles<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for the useful information about the defibrillator.\u00a0 I wasn\u2019t aware of the ongoing and future expected costs, so that is good to know.\u00a0 Obviously an excellent cause.\u00a0 The only point I would like to make about the music festival is that the local advertising (the wooden boards up around the village, and the blackboard outside the pub) didn\u2019t mention that the event was in aid of defibrillator funds, so it\u2019s possible that people didn\u2019t realise.<\/p>\n<p>Yours<\/p>\n<p><em>Tina Wons<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Editor comments: I think you both have a point. Hopefully next time some people will volunteer to help John.
