If this is true, then more questions need to be answered:<\/p>\n
Who initially complained? \u00a0Do they live in Horsington or outside?
\nDid the County Council inspect before ordering the work?
\nIn whose opinion was it dangerous, and what is the test?
\nWhy not simply trim on dangerous bends and road junctions?
\nWas the Parish Council consulted?
\nWho instructed the contractor?
\nWhy was the cut so drastic?
\nWhy everywhere? Marsh lane is signed as a “Byway” and has virtually no traffic on it apart from the school run. The vegetation might have encouraged the mothers to slow down.
\nWhy was it not done in the winter?<\/p>\n
Lord knows what the “Mail” will make of this. \u00a0They \u00a0really will have to \u00a0big it up to make this a National press story.<\/p>\n
