Winterbourne Longjohns, who seems to have undergone a sartorial makeover<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It’s\u00a0 two weeks to the start of the National Hunt season at Wincanton, and we have received a portrait of none other than our winning jumps correspondent Winterbourne Longjohns.<\/p>\n

He claims that, like the stream,\u00a0he is peculiar to the chalk, which is so porous that when the water level drops or the season changes, the winterbourne or stream, also disappears beneath the ground surface in the upper reaches\u00a0 of its valley. However like his namesake, Winterbourne is about to re-emerge after the summer break.<\/p>\n

Once again our readers will be following the fortunes of the fifty-horse Harry Fry stable at Seaborough,\u00a0and should particularly look out for the following early sorts:<\/p>\n
