Horsington Celebrates the Jubilee in Style

BloggoVision Over 300 people sat down to a delicious lunch at the Horsington Street Party of Sunday June 3rd.  Everyone had a fabulous day, and the Blog sends a big thank you to everyone concerned – Andrew and Philippa Tarling and everyone at the Half Moon; Chris and the Bailward family who provided and roasted  delicious pork and beef, Alec and Rachael Davis who spent several hours carving it; all the ladies who made all those delicious salads, puddings and cakes. Plus all the other helpers who turned up to erect and dismantle the marquees, John Sampson and his team and many others. Thanks.

A full length video will show the days events. The video is for the “Time Capsule”, but you will be able to buy a copy in aid of the Church roof fund.

In the meantime, here is a preview.

Last year PawFest was quoted as ‘the best thing that has ever happened in Wincanton’. Come and see what all the fuss is about and if you have never been to a Music Festival make this your first.

It is relaxed, safe, family friendly and most importantly,  held in aid of Somerset and Dorset Animal Rescue.  Doors open Noon -11pm.

BloggoVision Preview – Braga Tanga (at the Half Moon, May 29th)

Sunday May 29th is the Bank Holiday cricket match against the Tabard Pilgrims from Chiswick, West London. There should be a lively social scene in the Half Moon afterwards, helped by a BBQ, some decent guest ales (Please, some ESB -Ed) and a new band, Braga Tanga, making their first appearance at the HM. They have very bravely asked to appear on BloggoVision, in the full knowqledge that this clip will either reel the punters in, or keep them away. (If it helps, I liked it -Ed)
